7 Reasons Why Failure ISN’T Final

7 Reasons Why Failure ISN'T Final

An innate part of being human is that,  from time to time we will each experience failure.  Depending upon what we have invested in the situation, time, money and emotions,  failure can be one of the most painful and disparaging things anyone can face.

What we need to understand is that failure is a part of life.

– – Business ventures fail.
– – Friendships fail.
– – Marriages fail.
– – Partnerships fail
– – Even your health can fail you.

But here’s the thing: Failure ISN’T Final and it doesn’t need to define you.  Understand that failure hurts like hell but time heals and you will find that you can learn from your past mistakes.

Remember, the failures of yesterday do NOT need to define your present state nor do they need to control your future actions.

Did Your Business Fail?  Well, the good news is that you are in very good company.  Some of the most successful people in the entire business world have experienced bankruptcy and humiliating falls from grace. Just think of the Billionaire Donald Trump and they are many more. They bounced back and so can you. Keep a written record of what to do differently ‘next time around’ and start dreaming again.

Did Your Marriage Fail?  This experience is one that probably hurts the most.  All those well meaning people who tell you stuff like “Time is a great healer” and “There are plenty more fish in the sea”  You make or not believe them,  but they are telling you the truth. Use your time to work on you. Uncover who you are as a single person and get ready – love is coming your way once more.

Changing your questions changes your destiny…Many successful people ask questions and it is the quality of these questions that determine their success.  Start asking yourself  “How?” and “Why?” questions in a positive frame and you will change your life in 30 days or less.

Change your focus.  Stop focusing on the problem, look for answers and start to ask: “Why do I feel so hopeful about  the future?”

Here’s the thing, when you change your input changes your output.  Take some time to stop and think about what you are

  1. Reading?
  2. Watching?
  3. Listening to?
  4. Who are you associating with?

Are the people and things that you are allowing into your life building you up? or dragging you down?

Start thinking, not about what you are willing to change, but what you need to change.  Remember, human history is on your side! The pages of history are over-flowing with people who overcame seemingly insurmountable obstacles and setbacks, people who defied the odds and turned torturous defeat into glorious victory.

The good news is that they were not super-humans either .  They were just ordinary people, like you and me, who refused to allow the opinions of others or their past experiences to control their present or dictate their future.

P.S  Create a map of your life, What’s it been like up to this point and write down all the things you intend to achieve. Get VERY specific. Where are you going to live? How much are you going to earn? How are you going to spend your days? The more specific you get the clearer the answers you will discover to help make your dreams a reality.
