7 Ways Busy Women Get Things Done

We all know “that” woman that always seems to have it all on point.  They just seem to sail through life, getting shit done. But staying organised is not the only key to getting that never-ending “To-Do-List” done, but it’s also vital to reducing your stress levels.

Luckily for you, there are some simple things that you can start doing right now, that will reduce your stress and help get things done.

Don’t Believe The Lie – Multi-Tasking Doesn’t Work!

Focus on only one thing at a time! Why?  A study by Stanford researchers have found that the brains of people who multitask work less than when they are NOT multitasking.  It can also, slow down the brain and make completing, even a simple task challenging.

Tip: Close all computer tabs that you’re not using. Also, turn off all notifications and time all tasks use a timer.

Prioritise Information.

Not only is it about choosing what NOT to do but choosing what to do.  If you decide to choose too many priorities for the day, it will leave you drowning, gasping for air and your day in total disarray.

Tip: Select a few task your NEED to get done for the day or maybe a single task for the week.

The ONE Thing!

The fact is that most of the time you know that ONE thing that you know you should be working on, but find yourself doing other tasks that are not necessary. Having a clear vision for your business will not only help with the direction of your business but it’s success.

Tip: Each day do one thing that will move your business forward.

Work In Sprints.

Quality of work depends on focus and you can only focus on a limited amount of time. The best way to get anything done is to work in short bursts with breaks in between.

 

Tip: Turn off all notifications, block off time to tackle each task and use a timer let you know when it’s break time.

Spend Your Time Wisely!

Manage minutes: Using the few spare seconds you do have to get things in order can really pay off. If you can do a task in two minutes or less, then do it right then.  Don’t leave it for later if it’s something important.

Tip: Do that one little thing instead of making a pile to be dealt with later.

Use Productivity Apps.

There are so many apps out there on the market that can help with productivity but the one thing that you have to remember is that the quality of work depends on your focus. Create A Command Center.
